Well, thank you very much, I'm glad that you liked it. I'm writing in sports section for **.
Ahh, don't expect me to write about US politics; I know nothing more than others do.

There has been a rumor since the Nobel Prize Comittee announced its winner of 2002(2003?) Nobel Peace Prize that the ommittee's decision was an act of 'protest' against Bush administration.

I think you already heard about this. More than that, it's pretty straight-forward since Jimmy Carter is known as an evangelist of peace in international affairs and he highly
criticized Bush administration's hard-line foreign policy a few months ago.

Well I don't really think that affected the three jingoism fervents (Rice, Cheney, Rumsfeld), though they soon made some cynical comments about it.

What I'm saying is that Bush administration is already too far
away on their way and it will hardly ever be stopped by mere resistence from inside or outside.

I believe, unfortuantely, the war will happen (against Iraq). There are two options for Bush administration right now.
Go as hard as you can on Iraq or face the failing economy. Seems to me that Bush administration believes economy will revive when the war start.

I think this is very wrong, though there indeed the possibility that war will help the economy (This is not the part I can say with confidence. I just saw some reports on the war-economy relationship).

Did you hear that US State Department officers broke into UN Headquarters and took away the 15,000 page military arms report submitted by Iraq and the cd-rom submitted by UN investigation team? Both documents were supposed to be reviewed by UN Security Council members, which are the countries.

They soon returned them, though. What do you think about this?
This incident obviously shows those guys are 'desperate' about getting the war in the place.

Also, it's a clear violation of international laws but US nowdays don't care about those laws anymore.

p.s. North Korea recently announced its reactivation of the nuclear plants, which were deactivated under the Geneva Accord.

I think you can find more about this if you see some news sites, but personally I need to say that I don't know what the outcome of this will be.

I'm afraid that the war is a great possibility this time.

Things like this happened many times before, but the situation right now is really serious.
